Bridge Forum

In the competitive world of tech investing, capital alone isn’t enough. What matters is access — to the right founders, the right networks, the right conversations. Bridge Forum was built to create exactly that.
Founded in 2018 by GIC and Singapore’s Economic Development Board, Bridge Forum is an invitation-only platform that connects global C-suite executives with innovative entrepreneurs and thought leaders in the technology ecosystem. What began as a co-hosted event has since grown into a fully-fledged GIC sub-brand — the public face of GIC’s Technology Investment Group in an industry where relationships drive deals.

The brief was to build a brand that could hold its own in Silicon Valley. GIC’s masterbrand — institutional, measured, built for finance — needed a counterpart that spoke tech’s visual language without losing its roots.
The Bridge Forum identity was built as a deliberate sub-brand system. The base dark blue of GIC’s palette anchors it, but everything else was evolved — accent colours updated for a more forward-looking, digital feel, and a custom typeface developed specifically for the platform. The wordmark incorporates ligatures between the letters ‘g’ and ‘e’, a typographic device that quietly embodies the platform’s purpose: linking, connecting, bridging. A governance system defines how GIC appears within the Bridge Forum context — always signed off as ‘Powered by GIC’.

The identity extended into a full event design system across three formats: the Bridge Forum Summit, the biennial flagship held in San Francisco; Bridge Forum Connects, an annual gathering at smaller scale; and Bridge Forum Sessions, intimate ad hoc convenings for specific conversations. Each has its own collateral system, designed to flex within the same visual language.

A dedicated website, bridgeforum.io, was built to house the platform’s ideas, insights and community.
