Between Home & Home

A youth photography showcase.

Home means different things to different people. For fourteen young Singaporean artists working in photography and film, it was the subject of an entire exhibition — and the design had to reflect that multiplicity.
The visual identity drew from an unexpected source: the iron gate motifs common to HDB flats across Singapore. Extracted and simplified into repeating patterns, these motifs became doorways into the different homes each participant photographed — familiar enough to resonate, graphic enough to hold together as a system.
Produced for Noise Singapore, a platform dedicated to amplifying young creative talent, the palette was chosen to be deliberately youthful and vibrant.
